This week, the city came alive with the clicking of high-heels and the snapping of street style photographers’ DSLRs. It was the perfect time to showcase our brand. And so, on Monday and Tuesday we did just that with the official Hebe Rose Brand Reveal.
@tezzamb rocking the Taylor Crossbody in Natural Python with our co-founders April and Barbara
Fashion bloggers from around the city popped in to see our current collection and chat to co-founders April Rose Gedney Ramirez and Barbara Corea. Stopping by were the likes of musician @tezzamb, sisters @carefryer and @michelesullivanfit, and fashion blogger @esthersanter.
As well as oohing and aahing over the handbags - all of which are made from at least 60% recycled materials - guests learned about the environmental impact of the fashion industry. They were horrified to learn that much of the USA’s waste is shipped to developing countries to sort through. It’s this heartbreaking fact that makes us so passionate about modernizing the fashion cycle, and we hope we got our guests fired up about this issue too!

How many plastic bottles does it take to make one Hebe Rose bag? That’s the question we put to our guests, with the closest answer winning our Alexa Muff Grommet in Black. In fact, it’s 36 plastic bottles! We had answers all the way from single digits into the hundreds, but it was @Mariann_Yip who was closest with her guess of 27.
A sneak peek inside the exclusive goodie bags for our guests
Before leaving to take on the rest of NYFW, all our guests received a goodie bag and tried on their new Wildfox Couture sunglasses! So a big thanks to our sponsors including Wildfox Couture, Crosspoint New York Branding & Design, People Español, Natori, George Piglet Cookies, Vibra Wellness, Kusmi Teas, Christine Huber Design, Fashion Meets Poetry, El Loco Burrito - Williamsburg, The Yard, and Swirl and Sparkle.
Thank you to everyone who came out to see our collection!
